Nike A'Two PE Surfaces in Rugrats-Inspired Susie Carmichael Colorway
A'ja Wilson has unveiled a new player exclusive edition of the Nike A'Two, drawing inspiration from Susie Carmichael of Rugrats. The design channels the character's iconic yellow dress and incorporates purple floral detailing alongside red trim elements that echo the Las Vegas Aces' road uniform.

Wilson's latest PE marks the second iteration of the Rugrats homage within her Nike signature line. The guard previously wore a nearly identical colorway on the A'One during the WNBA Finals, a moment she later contextualized as rooted in representation—specifically, the desire to see Black girlhood reflected in media during her formative years. That same ethos animates this follow-up.
The A'Two PE maintains Susie Carmichael's color palette as its foundation: a vibrant yellow base serves as the canvas, while interspersed purple florals provide visual rhythm across the upper. Red punctuation appears through the Swoosh, heel pull tabs, and various trim details, tying the shoe directly to the Aces' evening aesthetic from the matchup in which it debuted. A win against the Valkyries only deepens the shoe's significance.

Design & Cultural Context
The A'Two PE represents more than stylistic nostalgia. Wilson has positioned these Rugrats tributes as direct extensions of her competitive identity and personal narrative—tying childhood memory to championship performance. The silhouette itself, now two iterations deep, continues to establish the A'Two as Wilson's primary vehicle for expression beyond standard colorway releases.

Wilson's signature line has already accumulated a notable collection of PEs, yet exclusivity remains the operating principle. The original A'One Rugrats edition never saw retail distribution, and industry expectations suggest the A'Two will follow the same path. However, Nike's recent shift toward PE-to-public releases across its basketball division means this exclusivity may not be permanent.
