Feid x Salomon XT-4 Releases May 8 as General Drop
What began as an exclusive friends and family iteration of the Feid x Salomon XT-4 is now opening to the broader market. The 'Ferxxocalipsis' colorway shifts away from the partnership's signature neon aesthetic with a grounded black base, allowing the searing orange accents to serve as the focal point.

The Colombian artist's collaboration with the Alpine performance house has moved with notable speed since its 2024 inception. Within months of the initial partnership announcement, Feid was already visible in test colorways of the XT-4 and XT-Pathway silhouettes, each bearing the highlighter-green signatures that would become the collection's visual shorthand. Last August's release of the XT-Whisper proved the partnership's market viability—a deliberate, textural design that leaned fully into the aesthetic vocabulary the two parties had established.

The XT-4 model itself carries significant weight in Salomon's contemporary lineup. Originally engineered for technical trail performance, the silhouette has emerged as a compelling canvas for contemporary design, its layered construction and functional proportions lending themselves to both outdoor credibility and streetwear translation. The original release signals suggested the 'Ferxxocalipsis' would remain exclusive, limited to just 100 pairs distributed within close circles. That calculus has shifted.

The new iteration maintains Feid's visual imprint while pivoting toward versatility. A jet black mesh foundation provides the anchoring tone, while vivid orange overlays and accents introduce energy without the monochromatic intensity of earlier pieces. The signature fluorescent details persist—a design constant across the Feid x Salomon universe—but here they operate as punctuation rather than the full statement.
