Broken Arm x Salomon Savát Releases June 16
The Paris-based Broken Arm returns to Salomon for another collaborative chapter, this time introducing the Savát—an entirely new silhouette that prioritizes craft and restraint. Two colorways launch globally on June 16 through Salomon and select retailers.

The Broken Arm has earned its credibility through curation and calibrated vision rather than volume. The Parisian boutique's early patronage of Virgil Abloh's groundbreaking work in 2017 signaled their institutional taste, but the house has since pivoted toward building their own collaborative narrative. Their ongoing partnership with Salomon has become a meaningful pipeline for thoughtful footwear—one that values construction and material integrity over novelty.
The Savát represents a logical evolution within that dialogue. Rather than reworking an existing Salomon template, the collaboration yields an entirely new model, a gesture that underscores mutual investment in the partnership. The upper trades technical complexity for deliberate simplicity: a leather composition left intentionally bare, with exposed stitching serving as visual and structural honesty. It reads less as minimalism-for-its-own-sake and more as a statement about respecting materials and craft.

Design & Sole Construction
Where restraint governs the upper, the sole unit carries the performance pedigree. Broken Arm and Salomon have borrowed from the brand's S/LAB Cross 2, a proven platform optimized for trail and technical wear. This grounding in functional engineering offers a quiet counterpoint to the leather's aesthetic simplicity—the shoe operates across both worlds without contradiction.

Two colorways will roll out at launch: Cosmic Sky, a measured blue tone, and Black Olive, a muted earth neutral. Both emphasize the leather's tactile qualities while the tonal sole work maintains visual coherence.
