After years of speculation, Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 4 'Laser' pack in February 2027. The long-awaited retro will resurrect the 2005 silhouettes that originally celebrated the Air Jordan line's twentieth anniversary, with a faithful reproduction of the intricate laser-etched uppers that defined the pack.

The Air Jordan 4 'Laser' pack represents a particular moment in mid-2000s Jordan Brand aesthetics—a time when technical detailing and limited release strategy defined the line's creative output. The original 2005 drop coincided with the Air Jordan 20's introduction and became a defining reference point for collectors seeking the intersection of innovation and scarcity.
Two colorways comprise the returning pack. The White iteration borrows Fire Red blocking, featuring laser-etched leather construction throughout, complemented by a crystallized red TPU finish on the eyestays and heel Jumpman. The Black edition takes a different approach, pairing an all-black base with light green eyestays, red accents on the laces and lining, grey detailing across the backtab and midsole, and red heel branding. Both pairs will anchor the retro through precision laser work across the upper, a signature technique that distinguishes this collection from standard Air Jordan 4 reissues.
Jordan Brand has teased variations of the Laser concept intermittently over the past decade—most notably a 30th Anniversary edition in 2015 and a Black/Gum iteration in 2019—but the 2027 release marks a comprehensive return to the original pack's DNA.
