Nike is expanding its Air Force 1 Low Heat Map collection for 2026, following the late-2024 Stadium Green release. A new black-to-blue gradient iteration with red and yellow accents is set to drop this April, continuing the pack's theme-driven approach.
The Air Force 1 Low remains Nike's most reliable canvas for thematic pack concepts, and the Heat Map collection exemplifies this strategy. After introducing the Stadium Green colorway last December—a spray-painted interpretation that drew natural comparisons to collaborative work in the same palette—the Swoosh is preparing a companion piece for spring that takes the thermal gradient concept in a different direction.
The new iteration launches in black and blue, with a deliberate color progression that dominates both upper and midsole. The front half of the shoe maintains a clean black foundation, then transitions into a blue gradient across the midfoot and heel counter. Complementary red and yellow detailing frames key structural elements: the backtab, Swoosh, and eyelet stays receive the warm accent treatment, while perforations around the toe box receive small dot appliqués that generate tactile dimensionality.
The midsole mirrors this gradient philosophy but inverts the color hierarchy, shifting from black at the forefoot into red and yellow tones at the heel. This asymmetrical approach prevents the shoe from reading as a simple two-tone split; instead, the color story unfolds across the silhouette like a temperature map, justifying the collection's nomenclature.
